Thursday – Sunday Spring/Summer 2017

Day 1 Copenhagen – Belgrade
Flight Copenhagen 06:35 – Belgrade 08:50.
Pick up of the group at the airport. Transfer and Belgrade sightseeing( Kalemegdan fortress, St. Sava Church, City Hall, Kneza Milosa street, Boulevard of Peace, White Hall, Memorial Center Josip Broz Tito…After sightseeing accommodation in the hotel. In the evening a short walking tour around the city center: Terazije street, Knez Mihailova street, Republic Square, Cathedral, Pricness Ljubica’s Residence, Ethnographic museum, Students’ Square, National museum, National theatre… Dinner in Skadarlija street – bohemian quarter in the very center of Belgrade, for dinner. Skadarlija, a cobble paved street, dating back to the beginning of the 19th century, was famous for being a favorite meeting place of well known Belgrade bohemians, poets, painters, actors from the nearby theater, as well as of many lovers of good alcoholic drinks, socializing and spoken word with friends. Over all these years of progress and modernization of the city and society Skadarlija has managed to preserve the spirit of old times and just because of that has become a favorite site to citizens of Belgrade and many tourists. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2 Belgrade – Smederevo – Ram – Veliko Gradište – Golubac – Donji Milanovac – Lepenski Vir – Kladovo (250 km)
Early breakfast. Check out of the hotel and transfer to the Belgrade port at 07:30. Ship „Aquastar Maxim“ departure at 08:00. The cruise starts at the Belgrade Fortress and takes us towards Kladovo. We go by the Smederevo Fortress, then the confluence of rivers Morava and Danube, medieval Ram Fortress in the widest part of Danube in Serbia. The cruise continues by the Silver Lake and the city Veliko Gradište. As we go by the Golubac Fortress, we enter the area of National Park „Đerdap“, also known as the „Iron Gate“. We arrive in the city of Donji Milanovac after 7.5 hours of cruise. We get off the ship and go to visit the archeologica site „Lepenski Vir“, one of the oldest urban areas in Europe and Worldwide. Afterwards, we continue our trip by a bus to the city of Kladovo. Accommodation in hotel „Aquastar Danube“. Dinner. Overnight.


Day 3 Kladovo – Đerdap – Tabula Traiana – Decebal – „Kazan“ canyon – Donji Milanovac – Belgrade (515 km)
Early breakfast. Check out of the hotel and transfer to Donji Milanovac. Embarkation on the ship at 08:00 in Donji Milanovac Port. Cruise through the biggest lock in Europe. The cruise goes through the „Kazan“ canyon, towards the face of Decebalus, the last King of Dacia, carved in stone and continues towards „Trajan’s Table” (Tabula Traiana) where Roman Emperor Traian imprinted his mark on a rock and „Đerdap“ canyon. We get off the ship at 12:00 and go to lunch with wine degustation in a traditional restaurant in „Rajačke Pivnice“. After lunch we continue our trip by a bus towards Belgrade. Accommodation in hotel. Overnight.

Day 4 Belgrade – Copenhagen
Early breakfast. Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport.
Flight Belgrade 09:35 – Copenhagen 11:35.

In the evening we recommend a tour around Moscow Metro with the guide, seeing some of the most beautiful metro stations, looking almost like museums, decorated with sculptures, mosaics, gilded floral moldings, marble pillars, portraits of national heroes…

Day 2 Moscow saturday
Breakfast. Panoramic sightseeing of the city: city center, Red Square, Kremlin, Saint Basil’s Cathedral, Bolshoi Theatre, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Novodevichy Convent, Sparrow Hills and Lomonosov Moscow State University, Poklonnaya Hill (Worshipful Submission Hill) etc. (without entering the buildings). Lunch. Free time. Overnight.
In the evening we recommend a boatride on the luxurious boat-restaurant Radisson, with a spectacular view of Moscow. It is possible to organize dinner on the boat. The boatride is 2.5h and you see all the landmarks.


Day 3 Moscow sunday
Breakfast. Kremlin, the odlest part and a historical center of Moscow, an architectural – artistic complex unique for its beaty. A tour around the Kremlin, Cathedral of the Annunciation, Catherdal of the Archangel Michael, ivan the Great Bell Tower, Tsars Cannon… Lunch. Free afternoon and evening. Overnight.
In the evening we suggest a dinner in national restaurant Godunov, with national music.

Day 4 Moscow – Sankt Peterburg monday
Breakfast. At 09:00h departure for St. Petersburg by train Sapsan. Arrival at 13:00h, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in hotel. Panoramic sightseeing: Nevsky Prospect, Kazan Cathedral, Court Square, Navy Bulding, Vasilyevsky Island, Hermitage, Saint Isaac’s Cathedral, Bronze Horseman… (without entering the buildings). Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 5 St. Petersburg tuesday
Breakfsat. Hermitage: a tour around one of the largest museums in the world, in the Winter Palace, with over 3 million showpieces, including masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Titian (Tiziano Vecelli), Van Gogh, Cezanne, Picasso… Lunch. Free afternoon and evening. Overnight.

Day 6 St Petersburg wednesday
Breakfast. Excursion to Peterhof – Russian Versailles, summer residence of Peter the Great. A tour around the Grand Cascade and Samson Fountain, Lower Gardens… The tour includes a walk around parks with a magnificent view of Gulf of Finland, Kronstadt and St. Petersburg. Free afternoon and evening. Overnight.
In the evening we suggest a folklore night, special play in Nicholas Palace.

Day 1.Athens

Picking up the group at the airport and accommodation in the hotel.Going to Athens sightseeing.(Athens – cradle of democracy and birthplace of philosophy. How much of ourselves we can trace back to ancient Greece is truly remarkable, but when visiting this magnificent city, its history is not the first thing you meet. That Athens is rife with history is an adjunct, a secondary to the plain fact that Greece is one of the most visually stunning countries to ever nestle against the pellucid blue of the Mediterranean).National Historical Museum Athens.Time for lunch.Monastiraki. Day 2. Athens

Day 3.Athens – Corinth Canal – Mycenae – Epidaurus – Nauplia (214km.)

Breakfast. Set off from Athens in the morning and head along the mainland coast to Corinth Canal. Linking the Saronic Gulf with the Gulf of Corinth, the canal is steep-sided and narrow, making it a favorite spot for thrill-seeking bungee jumpers. After stopping to see this impressive canal, your tour continues to the seaside town of Nauplia for a walk, and then continue to Mycenae. Learn about the Classical Greece era, hearing tales of the period’s strong influence on the Roman Empire. Here, enjoy free time for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, the archaeological site of Epidaurus.the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Sanctuary of Asklepios (the shrine to the Greek god of medicine) and the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus. Enjoy your evening in Nauplia at leisure after dinner in your hotel.


Day 4.Nauplia – Olympia – Antirion – Delphi (440km.)

After breakfast visit the Archeological Site of Olympia. Home to the Atlis (Sanctuary of the Gods), the site was a mecca for ancient Greeks who came here to worship Zeus. See incredible ruins like the Stadium of Olympia, where the country’s ancient Olympic Games were held.Lunch.In the afternoon, drive to Antirion, passing the towns of Patras. Cross over the Rion-Antirion Bridge – considered a landmark of 21st-century Greece – and then sightsee independently in Antirion and the nearby town of Nafpaktos. Finish your day with a relaxing meal at your hotel in Delphi.

Day 5. Delphi – Kalambakka (246km.)

Breakfast. Rise early to explore Delphi – one of the most important archeological digs in Europe. As you walk around this stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site with your guide, see monuments like the Sanctuary of Athena. Head inside the Delphi Archeological Museum and encounter numerous artifacts and relics that date back to 15th century BC. Watch out for the Charioteer of Delphi and the intriguing Sphinx of Naxos. Enjoy a break for lunch in town and then relax on your afternoon journey through central Greece. Gaze out of your window as you cross the Thessalian plains, passing the pretty towns of Amphissa, Lamia and Trikala, and then arrive at your Kalambaka hotel in the early evening. After checking in you can explore town on your own, and finally relax over dinner in your hotel.

Day 6.Kalambakka – Meteora – Butrint – Saranda (235km.)

Breakfast. Leave your hotel to visit the rock towers of Meteora – incredible sandstone peaks topped with 11th-century monasteries. The UNESCO World Heritage site is home to more than 20 rock monasteries, either perched precariously on top of Meteora’s towering sandstone cliffs or built into the cliffs themselves inside naturally formed caves.With your guide, make your way up the walking trails to visit these monasteries, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views from the top. After spending the morning exploring Meteora, journey to Albania.On the way stop for lunchin the picturesque city of Ioannina. Day 7.Saranda – Gjirokastra – Berat – Durres (325km.)

Breakfast.Leave your hotel to visitGjirokastraUNESCO World heritage site. Visit Berat, known as the “City of 1,000 windows” and “City Museum”, whose settlement Mangalem is included in the UNESCO list of world heritage sites. Lunch at the traditional restaurant in Berat.Tour of the fortress among whose walls there is a large number of medieval Orthodox churches. Tour continues to the seaside town of Durres. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 8.Durres – Tirana – Kruje – Budva (210km.)

Breakfast.Short city tour of Durres, a city founded in the year of 627. Tour of the Roman amphitheater from 2nd century which was discovered only in 1966, largest in the Balkans, the Venetian towers and the port of Durres. Continue to visit Tirana and a tour of the capital of Albania: EthemBey Mosque, the Orthodox Church and the Catholic Cathedral, Skanderbeg Square … The journey continues to Kruja, the first capital of the autonomous Albanian state in the Middle Ages, which has become widely known for the father of the Albanian nation, GjergjKastriot Skanderbeg. Visit the fortress and the Skanderbeg museum which leads to the old bazaar full of shops with beautiful handcrafts. Lunch at a restaurant in Kruja.Travel towards Montenegro, and Budva. Accommodation in hotel in Budva.Dinner and overnight.


Day 9.Budva – Kotor – Dubrovnik – Trebinje (150km.)

Breakfast.Short tour of the Old Town of Budva and departure for Kotor (on the list of UNESCO).Upon arrival exploring the beauties of this town of Boka Bay: a tour of the old town, the city tower, the Pillar Cathedral Tripun, the walls of the church of St. John, the palace Byzantines, Pima Palace, Square Weapons.Lunch on the way to Dubrovnik, unique in the world due to its impressive medieval fortresses, churches, convents and palaces and is often called a pearl of the Adriatic. Sightseeing Dubrovnik: The Sponza Palace, Orlando Column, Fort Lovrenac, walking along Stradun (Placa Street). After free time in Dubrovnik, travel to Trebinje. Day 10.Trebinje – Pocitelj – Mostar – Sarajevo (270km.)

Breakfast. A brief tour of Trebinje: Arslanagicabridge, built in the 16th century out of stone, Trebisnjica, Clock Tower, “the Poet Square” where are the plane trees over 100 years old, which is the symbol of the city. Departure for Počitelj – a historic settlement in the oriental-Mediterranean style, town-fortress dating back to the middle ages. It is situated along the left bank, in the valley of river Neretva in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This picturesque small town is one of the most beautiful cultural-historical sites in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Travel to Mostar(on the list of UNESCO) and city tour: the Old Bridge, The Halabia Tower, The Hercegusa Tower, The Sahat Kula (The Clock Tower) the KrivaCuprija (The Crooked Bridge), – one of the oldest preserved monuments from the Ottoman period, built before 1558, Coppersmith’s street – old Mostar’s “carsija” (“çarşı” in Turkish means “bazaar” or “market”) located on the left side of the Neretva river with its workshops and souvenir shops. Day 11.Sarajevo – Visegrad – Mokra Gora – Sargan – Zlatibor (180km.)

Breakfast. Sightseeing Sarajevo – Olympic city is surrounded by steep mountains: Bjelasnica, Igman, Jahorina, Ozren, Romania, Treskavica and Trebevic. Sarajevo is often called the “Jerusalem of Europe” because of its traditional and religious diversity. Visit the old town: Bascarsija, the Cathedral, old Orthodox church with museum of icons, old mosque and turkish house …unique edifices of Ottoman urban architecture, numerous mosques, kujundziluk (Coppersmith’s street)… Departure to Visegrad and visit old bridge, famous “Bridge over the Drina river” and monument to Ivo Andric, Andric’s town, erected by famous film director Emir Kusturica and the Government of the Republic of Srpskain honour of the Nobel Prize Winner.Travel to Mokra Gora nature park. Tour of the famous tracks “Šargan Eight” and Drvengrad – Mecavnik – built on the idea of Emir Kusturica. Enjoy free time for lunch. After, continue to Zlatibormountain, accommodation in hotel. Day 12. Zlatibor –Sirogojno -Oplenac – Topola – Belgrade (220km.)

Breakfast.Visit Sirogojno, village-museum in the open which features architecture, arrangement, economy and way of life in mountainous regions on Zlatibor. Enjoy free time in the beautiful nature of par Zlatibor. Day 13. Belgrade

Breakfast. Half day city tour of Belgrade: St.Sava Temple, Terazije, Republic Square, National Museum, Studentskitrg, Belgrade fortress – Kalemegdan, Cathedral Church, Ethnographic museum, The Assembly of the City of Belgrade, Str. KnezMilosa, Bulevarmira, Memorial Center Josip Broz Tito.Sightseeing Zemun.Zemun is really distinguished by its tradition: fortification on Gardos that has been mentioned as early as in the 9th century. Early breakfast. Departure for Budapest at 08:00. On the way to Budapest, we visit the city of Novi Sad, panoramic sightseeing ( Petrovaradin fortress, The Freedom Square… After Novi Sad, we cointinue to the lake „Palić“ where we will have a lunch break on a type of farm, typical for this part of Serbia. After lunch we continue to our trip and arrive in Budapest in the evening. Check in at the hotel. We take a short walking tour through the city center. Dinner in hotel. Overnight.


Day 15. Budapest

Breakfast. Budapest sightseeing: Heroes Square, Vaci Streeti, Andrassy Avenue, St. Istvan (Stephan) Basilica, House of Parliament, Fishermans Bastion, Gellert Hill, Citadel… Lunch in Budim in a national restaurant. Free afternoon. In the evening lunch in a traditional hungarian restaurant. Overnight.

Day 16. Budapest – Beijing

Breakfast. Check out of the hotel by 12:00. Free time until transfer to the airport.
